Founded in 2012, the Motherless Daughters Foundation was established to provide guidance, encouragement, and meaningful opportunities for young women navigating adolescence without the daily support of their birth mothers due to unforeseen circumstances. The organization was built on the belief that strong mentorship, positive relationships, and access to enriching experiences can help young people become confident, responsible, and capable future leaders.

In 2022, the Foundation expanded its mission to support all youth by addressing their personal, educational, social, and professional development. Through mentorship, educational enrichment, career exploration, community service, and leadership development, the Foundation provides a supportive environment where young people can build character, strengthen their confidence, develop essential life skills, and discover their individual talents.

As part of this expanded mission, the Foundation introduced the Youth in Aviation Program for male and female participants ages 12–18. The inaugural program was held at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and provided participants with firsthand exposure to aviation careers, airport operations, industry professionals, and educational pathways. Since its launch, the program has continued to create opportunities that encourage youth to pursue higher education, explore career possibilities, and prepare for successful futures.

Today, the Motherless Daughters Foundation remains committed to equipping youth from all backgrounds with the resources, experiences, and support needed to succeed in every aspect of their lives.
